Curbgag
The Curbgag is a combination of a Pelham and a loose ring gag. This bit features a loose ring design with two small holes on each side, through which a leather curb strap runs. The pressure points are located under the chin (via the curb strap) and behind the ears (on the poll).
This bit can be used with one or two reins but is most commonly ridden with two: one attached to the large loose ring, and the other to the ring connected to the curb strap. This allows the rider to better balance the pressure between the curb and the mouth, depending on the desired effect.
Please note: Due to the combination of pressure points, this bit is intended for experienced riders. Correct use and adjustment are essential to ensure the horse’s comfort and safety.
Single-Jointed Mouthpiece
The single-jointed mouthpiece has one hinge point, offering a clear and direct connection with reduced tongue pressure compared to double-jointed bits. It mainly acts on the bars and edges of the tongue. A trusted and timeless choice for riders looking for a simple, effective bit for everyday use.
