SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction
Welcome to Horse and Balance (NL), a division of Consulting-Asia BV ("the Company"). These Sales Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of equestrian products and related items ("Products") through our online store. By placing an order, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

Product Information
We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions, images, and prices on our website. However, errors or inaccuracies may occur. The Company reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions and to update product information without prior notice.

Ordering Process
To place an order, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Review and confirm your order before finalizing the purchase.

  • Agree to these Terms.

An order confirmation email will be sent to you once you place an order. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when we process and dispatch the order.

Prices and Payment
All prices are quoted in Euro (EUR) and include applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified.
Payment must be made using the available methods on our website at the time of purchase.
The Company reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

EU-Based Company and Tax Responsibilities
Horse and Balance (NL), as part of Consulting-Asia BV, is based in the Netherlands. Please note the following regarding taxes and international shipments:

  • Value-Added Tax (VAT): As an EU-based company, VAT is applied to all applicable sales within the European Union at the prevailing rate.

  • International Purchases: For customers outside the EU, any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fees and are not covered by Horse and Balance (NL).

  • Responsibility for Import Taxes: The customer is responsible for paying any import taxes, customs duties, or other fees required by their local government. We are not liable for any costs or delays caused by customs processing.

Shipping and Delivery
We aim to ship in-stock items within 2-5 business days of order confirmation. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.
For items that are custom-made or available on a pre-order basis, delivery times will be communicated to you.
If delivery times are longer than expected, we will notify you.

Returns and Exchanges
In accordance with Dutch law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery to return any product (except for custom-made or pre-ordered products) without providing any reason. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

  • Custom-made products are non-returnable under Dutch law, unless they are defective or do not conform to the contract. These items are specifically made to order based on your preferences and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged. If a custom-made product is faulty or does not meet the specifications agreed upon, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under our warranty policy.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods by contacting our customer service at sales@horseandbalance.eu. We will then provide instructions for returning the product. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is defective or incorrect.

Please note: We cannot accept returns for custom-made or pre-ordered items, except in cases of product defects or non-conformity with the contract.

Warranty and Liability
Products may come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the warranty information provided with your product.
The Company waives liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the product.

Privacy and Data Protection
Personal data collected through our online store will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union.

Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our website will be resolved through the competent courts of the Netherlands.

Amendments
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
